Olivier Cotard
Managing Director, 3C Ventures
Executive · Entrepreneur · University Lecturer
Olivier Cotard is an executive, entrepreneur and university lecturer based in Hong Kong, with over 30 years of experience across Asia, Europe and the United States. His career spans deep tech, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy and technology commercialization, combining senior operational leadership, entrepreneurship and consulting. He has led industrial organizations and technology projects in Europe and China, supported innovative companies expanding in Asia, connected ventures with funding and strategic partners, and advised private equity firms and corporate clients on investment, M&A and strategic projects.
He is a Lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an Independent Expert for the European Commission's European Innovation Council, and a mentor with Deep Tech Lab since its inception, supporting science-based ventures on commercialization. He is also a co-founder of the Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Conference. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master's-level engineering degree from École Centrale de Lille, and studied at Technische Universität München (TUM).
